God's Righteous Man ____Captain America
Steve Rogers was born July 4,1920 to poor Irish Immigrant parents.His Father's name was Joseph Rogers and his Mother's name was Sarah Rogers.
He grew up a very frail youth in Depression in America.He had a sense of honor,duty, and patriotism from the very beginning in his life.His Father died when he was a child and his mother passed away due to pneumonia in his later teens.He then went on trying to enroll himself in the army to fight for his country but kept failing
due to his weak and fragile appearance. He then experimented.That is how he became "Captain America".
It seems like everyone who even watches movies knows about that so, how about some things that not even you guys would know.Here it goes:
1)Is captain America older than Marvel?
Yes!!Captain America was actually created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby in 1940's.
He was a result of the booming popularity of patriotic superheroes.
He debuted in Captain America Comics#1 in March 1941.This makes him older than Marvel itself.
2)Once Captain America saw Thor's Hammer laying on the battlefield.He wanted to give it back to him.So,he picked it up but, Suddenly,a lot of enemies outnumbered him and he came smashing them all up in the air,by using Mjolnir(that only the worthy can use).
It can also be seen in the Avengers:Age of Ultron movie,that Captain America can move the hammer a little bit.
3)Sam Wilson was also known as "Falcon" was the first African-American hero introduced alongside Captain America.He is seen appearing in the movie Captain America:The Winter Soldier.
But,did you guys know, In comics, he had the power to not only telepathically communicate with Birds but also control them.
He used them as spies and even had them attack enemies.
4)Captain America has been either the chairperson or leader of the Avengers for more time than any other member.He still is in the movies.He can be seen giving instruction at the end of the movie in both parts.
5)Most of you would know about Channing Tatum.He tried to play this role too,but that didn't happen.
Chris Evans himself declined the role for about Three times and then accepting it afterward.
6)Captain America was once injected with another serum which turned him into a Werewolf.That is right,he was called Capwolf and ironically he came across Wolverine who as usual got into the fight with him.Captain America won the fight by slicing Wolverine's eyes.
7)In Dimension Z ,Captain America fought with Arnim Zola and rescued a child from him.His name was Ian Zola.Captain adopted him as a son and continued in that dimension for about 12 years,When Captain America came back, he had only aged a few minutes.
8)Everyone knows about Peggy Carter right?She was the girl in the army with Captain America and they both fell in love.But,Captain America was gone for "a while" and when he did came back,he dated Sharon Carter,an agent and also the niece of Sharon Carter.This makes it true,that Captain perhaps dated the whole Carter family.
9)Captain America from "The Secret Avengers" during the Civil War.But,not much should be said about that at this time.
10)Stephen Strange has been mentioned in the movie Captain America:The Winter Soldier.
That is the same Stephen Strange who will become Doctor Strange in later movies.But,he is still not shown.
11)Brock Rumlow can be seen taken out from the wreckage badly injured but perhaps still alive.It is pretty clear that he would be assuming the role of "Crossbones".The name of Crossbones was also Brock Rumlow.
12)When Captain America was disappointed after the Watergate Scandal.He demoted himself from his Superhero identity and for a while, he was just "The Captain".He did get disappointed from his Country due to a lot of political wrongdoings.At one point, he went on with the name "Nomad".
13)Captain America was once affected by the explosion of a meth lab.The blast reacted dangerously with Super-Soldier Serum.He then removed the serum and kept training to keep himself
at peak but,he soon found out that the serum would affect his metabolism and genetics as a virus.
So,he gradually began to become fragile and wore a Powerful exoskeleton made
by Tony Stark and Dr. Hank Pym.He was eventually cured by a blood transfusion from the Red Skull.
14)In a Marvel/DC crossover, Captain America once got in a brief fight with none other than Batman himself.After a while.they both decided to draw the match and take down the enemies rather than keep fighting.Perhaps,Captain America's strength was too much for Batman or Batman's fighting skills were more advanced but,I guess we will never know.
15)Captain America gained Spider like powers.He got four arms when he was transformed by Jackal into "Spider King".
That is plain Wicked.
16)In Marvel/DC crossover,Clark Kent was injected with Super-Soldier serum that made him into an advanced Captain America/Superman.
17)We all know about the Captain America but,there was Captain Punisher too.It was when Punisher decided to carry on Captain's legacy.
He had his own way of providing Justice but,he still looked Awesome.
