The Epic Battle !!! Goku vs Superman
Goku Vs Superman______Decided!!!
Well, this question has been on the Internet for quite some time now.I first heard this question from my brother and I like many others thought that if such a battle ever took place (which by the way would be "Awesome") Goku could easily beat Superman.
Much to my surprise, my brother told me that Superman would defeat Goku and claim victory.I was like"eh?".I did not believe it at first but, as it turns out, they have actually run this on an actual Simulator,and found out that Superman would indeed win.Not to mention the Death battles(both of them).
Next up is their Nature.Goku has a rather care-free nature.I mean he is a radish farmer after all.He lives very normally and cares for his family and most importantly Trains most of the time.Superman, on the other hand, is smarter and actually pays more attention rather than just being reckless.Superman definitely thinks more clearly than Goku and trains lesser than him also.The main reason is that Superman was born with a body of steel,strength and other powers while Goku was born with a tail and some abilities.Superman has a clear edge on Goku to succeed in his double life.
Impressions:

I have looked on the Internet about it and many people give their own reasons.Most importantly, Superman is thought of as not only indestructible and invulnerable but also in comics, it is shown that he never actually uses his full powers because, he is afraid that if he ever used his full potential, he would destroy the World.That is true,in fact,recent Goku is shown to be increasing his powers like the temperature of the world(ever increasing) but,he has limits.The most obvious one being that he is only strongest on Earth in absence of Kryptonite but,in its presence,he becomes weaker than a normal person.Also,he derives his powers from Sun.If he was to be confined without Sunlight somehow,he is done.
Goku also has limitations such as getting shot but,he can not be affected by them now,as his powers have increased.Superman can also be shot by a kryptonite bullet.
Well!That is both true and false.If Goku were to use Kryptonite
then Superman is pretty much beaten because,as strong as he may be,he will get his ass kicked.No other way to that.
It is only possible that Goku would not use kryptonite to make the battle fair.That is true even when Goku is about to die.These both would never leave their "Principles".

His so called speed is not that much when just throwing knuckles.

Powers:
Superman also beats Goku in being popular .I don't think anyone can argue to that.Superman's movie is much much better than Goku.Real life Superman(Henry Cavill) beats real life Goku by so far ahead of the line that line is a Dot to him.Well!That is both true and falseIf Goku were to use Kryptonite

Well, I am here to give my views and answer this question once and for all.Clearly,Superman is quite strong and basically invincible except in the presence of kryptonite.Also,Superman derives his powers from the Sun and hence,he definitely can also grow stronger as he needs to be or as the story requires him to be.Superman can also do a bunch of other stuff like shooting laser from his eyes or freezing from his breath or seeing through objects but, if we look at it this way that he is fighting Goku who is equally capable of moving faster than the eye and perhaps even more, most of the Superman's powers won't be that useful.While Goku could go from Saiyan to super Saiyan to super Saiyan 2 and ss3 and so on and become a hell of a lot stronger,Superman would not only have limited powers but would also get his a** kicked.
But,let's not get carried away here.Superman is very tough and he is clearly seen to be doing much harder stuff than Goku generally does.Apart from the fact that Goku's enemies are capable of defeating galaxies even while Superman's most enemies want to take over the world.Superman is stronger than Goku.He can even beat Goku to pulp as he possesses Superhuman 'Everything',while (normal) Goku is a very good ,peak level Martial arts Expert.Goku's strength is not a match for Superman and I won't be giving values from the internet but,that is not all that matters.There is more to that in a fight.Also,let us not forget that Goku's strength increases tremendously when going to become a super Saiyan.His personality changes too.He becomes rather serious and I guess that is when his mind is unlocked truly.
We also need to remember that Superman may be indestructible but,his powers are limited.On the other hand, Goku is.... well a Saiyan and as it is told in the Dragon Ball Z series again and again that a Saiyan evolves forever and ever.I think Superman is quite strong but Goku can go to become a super Saiyan and so on. I still do not believe that Superman could beat him and let's not forget that Goku has "Instant Transmission" just to escape,heal and become yet more strong than he was ever before if he ever needs it but I do not think Goku would be defeated.
Anyhow, that is just one man's view.
Different people think differently.It is quite alright if many people do not agree with this but, hey! that is the main purpose of this post so that you guys can tell that how exactly is Superman more powerful than Goku.Be sure to Comment below about who do you think would win this Epic Battle!!! also, why do you think that Hero deserves to win from the other?

Goku could beat Superman since the Piccolo Damaïo Tournament and will totally destroy him since the Sayan Saga. Look at Supes showings against Anguish, Ghost Soldier, the Predator-like Alien, against Zod & Faora, against Doomsday if you aren't convinced. Goku's combat speed is out of Superman's league and moreover Superman has a weakness to Chi / Ki which acts as an opposing force to his Solar powers so the additional effect will be the opposite of an exposure to the Solar Energy. Goku stomps Superman.

Predator-like alien: Same argument with Goku who got hit by a laser weapon in Resurrection F: The predator-like alien had weaponized tech that Superman didn't know could pierce him. Superman naturally takes hits during his fights but when he realized the alien's capabilities, he out blitzed him.
Zod and Faora: again lowballing. Goku lost alot of times too in the past. Should I recall these instances to make my point? Nope
Doomsday: Superman one this...and after that he actually manages now to constantly incinerate Doomsday clones...
Rofl when is Goku's combat speed > than Supes? Superman can hit the Flash.
Chi/Ki opposing force? Link? Because not only is Ki in DBZ different in nature, but Superman has already been shown to tank different kinds of energy attacks.

DeleteThere is no lowballing in what I said, moreover you are comparing Cell's explosion which is strong enough to one-shot the Earth with Superman's Solar Flare which only incinerated everything within 100 yards...

That's not what I pointed out : I pointed out the fact that he was unable to avoid Anguish attacks. Superman is slower than a turtle when it comes to combat speed by Mangas standard... Superman fight as fast as an untrained human...

Same stuff. He was unable to avoid or block Ghost Soldier's attacks... Again your answer show how little you comprehend what I was claiming in my first post.

Exactly. Helspont and He'l punched Superman hard and he was unable to avoid or block their attacks. Thanks for adding more to my own arguments.

Superman was unable to block the attacks of the Alien when he was in close-combat. Superman was unable to react to the Aliens projectile launched at slow speeds.
Goku block, avoid & deflect combos at very high speed in hand-to-hand all the time, Superman get punched by an Alien fighting at similar speeds than a trained human...
Goku block, avoid & deflect Ki-attacks which moves faster than light all the time...
You can't compare then. Clearly.

Goku avoided & blocked more attacks in one single fight in his early years than Superman in his entire carreer. I guess that you are the kind that goes on respect threads instead of reading Comics & Mangas.

Doomsday ground pounded Superman easily even he is a slow fighter too.
Goku strike harder and faster than Doomsday can dream of... In the first mangas Goku fight Master Roshi at speeds faster than eye for people whom already can perceive movements faster than eye.
Superman fight at untrained human speeds...

Superman only flicked Flash on an anticipatory attack, he totally failed to keep-up with the Flash's speed and couldn't grab him at all...
As I said the early mangas in Dragon Ball already shows combat speeds far higher than that.

Ki is the same thing in Comics and Mangas. It's the Life Energy.
Ki will literally have the opposite effects than the Solar Radiations on Superman besides the usual effects. It's totally deadly to him. Life Energy is the power source of Magic in the DC Universe and that makes Ki even deadlier than Magic to Superman.
You clearly lacks of knowledge about both characters.
Actually Goku fucks any vesion of superman, Show me a single feat where superman can even destroy a galaxy let alone the universe!
