Charles Xavier was best known as "The Professor X" is a fictional Marvel character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.He is a mutant having the ability of telepathy however,he is best known for founding "The X-men".He first appeared in Comic Book X-men#1
in September 1963.
Professor X has the most powerful mind in the world and he uses his powers to bring peace between Humans and Mutants.
He has always been depicted as this fatherly figure over X-men however,a lot of people do not like him.The reasons are pretty obvious which include his secret love for Jean Grey when she was 15 or lying to Wolverine who was originally sent to kill Charles.

1)Professor Xavier had an evil twin sister named Cassandra Nova whose body was destroyed by Professor Charles even before being born because he sensed her evil.He made it look like miscarriage and it also shows that his powers have been active since then.
2)Professor X is shown to be growing up with Mystique in the movie X-Men:The First Class But, In actual comics,he grew up with yet another notable villainous character named "Juggernaut".He was his step-brother who bullied him in his early life and was transformed into a superhuman being by a mystical ruby.

Wolverine is a fictional character published by Marvel Comics.He has been around for more than 30 years now. Wolverine is a mutant having a different kind of abilities.He not only has the ability to Heal himself tremendously fast but also he has enhanced physical capabilities.Wolverine is known to lift about 2 tons of weight in comics.Not only that,Wolverine has those Sharp Claws which almost cut through everything.He has animal-keen senses in which his sense of smell is of a great importance.
Wolverine can sense his enemies and can fight like a bad-ass even when blindfolded .
Wolverine is known to have a very serious attitude and he has done a lot of "not so good" stuff before he became an X-men.Wolverine was subjected to different experiments and became "Weapon X " after the weapon X program.After this program,his bones were changed forever and he then had an Adamantium skeleton.His pretty much became indestructible after that.His claws were changed too and also he became better in every aspect.
Wolverine's primary mutant power is his ability to heal his damaged tissues very quickly.He is, however, not capable of regenerating his lost body parts.Wolverine's enhanced healing factor renders almost all kinds of toxins,drugs, and diseases ineffective against him.Wolverine survived an Atomic Bomb while in Japan.
