The Multiplayer game that One has definitely got to try !!!
Those who have played DOTA 2 know how addicting this game can be, once someone gets the hang of it.The best way to play this game is by making your own team so you have easy communication among your team and hence,you can easily apply different strategies and also divide your duties.
DOTA 2 offers not only a multiplayer arena but you can go and have one vs one matches as well and it also has a lot of other features.
*Reasons to try this game==points++
1)Multiplayer games and can have up to 12 players in the single game(including the coaches).
2)A lot of Heroes having a bunch of their own powers.So,you do not have to worry about getting bored from a character with a single gaming experience.They all have different abilities.
3)Earning your XP and gold and hence making your hero hell of a lot stronger so you may win.If you do get to become the strongest one,well,then you probably become a notorious lord killing everyone you find.
4)Can never get Bored from this game if playing mutually.I mean it is way more fun if you communicate with your team to devise strategies and then put them to work.
5)Has a lot of exciting things like Jungling,Roshan, and secret shops and also offers a lot of game modes like Bot match,Team match,Rank matches,one vs one matches etc.
*Reasons to leave this game or never even try it==points--
1)Well, the game is not exactly very good Graphically and hence,tends to push many people away just by seeing its gameplay.
2)Many times, people from either your team or the other team leaves which make the rest of the game "not so much" fun.Next thing you know,everyone is leaving.Not a very good community especially,if you get bumped into low priority region.
3)The game takes a lot of time to even download (about 8 GB).
Also,Steam restarts the downloading once the day is over.This has happened to me many times.
4)One game almost requires an hour.If you don't have that kind of time,then don't begin playing the game or bad things can happen.(hint hint:low priority).
5)You can only play this on Steam and it is soon going to become "paid" like most of the games in Steam are.Even,if it does not,there are other reasons too.
It is highly addicting.Also,it has a very steep learning curve and people will not go easy on you if you are either new or just playing bad.Again,not a good community.
In a nutshell, I still think that it is worth to play DOTA 2 and also to invite your friends and other people on it.DOTA 2 is definitely a multiplayer game that has to be played in order to understand it fully.But,hey! this is just One man's View.
