He is not only a member of The Justice League but also, he is a founding member. Flash, as everyone knows, got his powers from getting hit by a lightning bolt which emerged due to a failed particle accelerator experiment.Barry quickly discovered his super speed and became The Flash.His powers allow him to actually tap into a Speed Force and that is why he can do some pretty amazing stuff that I have listed below.
So, Without much formal introduction that I don't think anybody coming to this site doesn't already knows, here are some uncanny views about him.
1)Barry Allen was not a single child.He had a twin brother.On a stormy night on May 13,two pregnant women came to Dr. Gilmore's office in Fallville,Iowa's.One of the women was Charlene Thawne.Her baby strangled on its own umbilical cord.Nora Allen gave birth to two healthy babies.Dr. Gilmore was intoxicated (drunk) and gave one of Nora Allen's son to Thawne family.Barry Allen was raised by Allen family and became The Flash while his twin brother was named Malcolm and he later became Cobalt Blue.
2)The Flash's real full name is Bartholomew Henry "Barry" Allen.
3)We all know that Barry Allen was not the only Flash , there were four of them with Barry coming in the second number(//We get it!!!).But, Barry actually grew up reading the adventures of Jay Garrick,The Original Flash.Also,he met him afterward and was astounded that he was real.
4)Everybody should now know that Flash is indeed faster than the Superman-like the only way it would make a competition for Flash is if the writer wants it to be.
But,why is he fast?That is because,Superman uses solar energy to accelerate his motion but Flash actually taps into the Speed Force,the essence of all speed in the universe.
5)Flash can reach the speed of light,yes.But,not only that, he could go back and forth in time precisely to alter reality as we know it.Flash can achieve almost any speed he wants to by proper will power .He has gone back and forth in time many times.
In Flash #150,he actually managed to go 10 times the speed of
light.When he goes too fast and if his body cannot handle it,he can change back into pure energy just like the one from which he was hit in the beginning .In Crisis Of Two Piles of earth, he got changed into that and returned after about 23 years.
6)Flash can actually phase through objects but, he can also phase through bullets.He can basically phase through anything.Seriously,who needs invincibility when you got this.Am I right?
7)Ever wondered why Flash is so careless and he just rushes into battle without making a plan.Well,it is probably because,not only can he run fast,he can think very fast too.This makes him pretty much immune to mind reading/controlling(will only work if he got full control)In the series,He got owned by Grodd at first but, he will get stronger.This fact makes him unpredictable just like Deadpool(except he is insane).
8) Flash ages really slow and can also go to the future so,he can outlive almost everyone if he wanted to.
9)Flash has the nicest group of villains like Rogues who have "Principles" like they don't kill police officers or attack women and children.Flash has worked with them on many occasions.
10)Flash also uses the 'Power Ring' of Hal Jordan a.k.a The Green Lantern.He did so to get him out of some trouble.This shows that he is worthy.Also,he was able to make many things easily just out of his imaginations.This proves that Flash does not fear anything.
11)Flash may not be strong but,he sure as hell can beat those with superhuman strength.
The reason is that Flash uses his speed to throw punches at the speed of light.He once threw one billion punches per second.(What could have been left of the victim?).
12)Flash has a very Interesting power which is rarely shown by him.That power is the power to actually use his brain faster and not just to think but, also to solve theorems,equations, and problems in his head alone.Flash is thus able to consume a large amount of information and to go through books in seconds.
13)Flash has killed someone, unlike many other heroes.Sure,it was by accident that when Professor Zoom killed Iris West and Barry was going to get married again,Professor Zoom came again.Barry was already expecting this and when he approached him from the back,He accidently snapped his neck .(Not that stunning!).
14)Flash actually uses more powers than everyone knows of.He does not only run fast and phase through objects but,also does all of this:
*He has accelerated healing factor.
*He has enhanced stamina.
*He can create tornadoes and storms with his hands and also, by running in a circle.
*He also has enhanced physical senses of vision,smell,hearing,touch and taste.
*He can actually steal the speed of other things or speedsters
(Momentum stealer!!!) .
15)In the TV series, Flash's father was actually Flash himself in 1990s show by CBS.
It is safe to say that he takes after his father.

16)Flash can also fly in the air.He can fly by running fast and then propel himself from the ground and the momentum will carry him off the ground.
Also,Flash when falling from the higher ground can rotate his arms so fast as to build a helicopter and fly down.
17)Marvel's speedster Quicksilver is also not a match for this scarlet speedster.Although,Quicksilver is very fast as shown in X-men : Days of the future past and Avengers:Age of Ultron,but in a cross-over ,Flash won the match fair and square.
