He is not only a member of The Justice League but also, he is a founding member. Flash, as everyone knows, got his powers from getting hit by a lightning bolt which emerged due to a failed particle accelerator experiment.Barry quickly discovered his super speed and became The Flash.His powers allow him to actually tap into a Speed Force and that is why he can do some pretty amazing stuff that I have listed below.

1)Barry Allen was not a single child.He had a twin brother.On a stormy night on May 13,two pregnant women came to Dr. Gilmore's office in Fallville,Iowa's.One of the women was Charlene Thawne.Her baby strangled on its own umbilical cord.Nora Allen gave birth to two healthy babies.Dr. Gilmore was intoxicated (drunk) and gave one of Nora Allen's son to Thawne family.Barry Allen was raised by Allen family and became The Flash while his twin brother was named Malcolm and he later became Cobalt Blue.

3)We all know that Barry Allen was not the only Flash , there were four of them with Barry coming in the second number(//We get it!!!).But, Barry actually grew up reading the adventures of Jay Garrick,The Original Flash.Also,he met him afterward and was astounded that he was real.
4)Everybody should now know that Flash is indeed faster than the Superman-like the only way it would make a competition for Flash is if the writer wants it to be.
